HEATING SYSTEM SWEEPS

HEATING SYSTEM SWEEPS (GAS OR OIL) FOR YOUR FURNACE, HOT WATER HEATER, & BOILER FLUE
The National Fire Protection Association or NFPA recommends having the chimney that services your furnace, hot water heater, and/or boiler cleaned and inspected annually, whether gas or oil feuled. During a furnace, hot water heater, or boiler flue cleaning, Allen Chimneys' fully trained technicians will begin the sweep by removing the pipes from the appliances. Second, they'll sweep the flue with a fitted brush multiple times. Next, they will clean out all the debris from the base of the chimney. Finally, the technicians will perform a level II video scan inspection of the chimney from top to bottom, as part of the cleaning service. Chimney cleanings always necessitate two technicians and take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.

FIREPLACE & WOOD STOVE SWEEPS

FIREPLACE & WOOD STOVE SWEEPS
The purpose of a fireplace, wood stove, or wood stove insert cleaning is to remove soot and creosote from the inside of your chimney. These extremely corrosive byproducts cause rapid deterioration of the flue and, eventually, a chimney fire. Let Allen Chimneys sweep your fireplace or wood stove today! After removing the damper, two of our technicians will sweep the flue, multiple times, with a properly fitted brush. Next, they will vacuum out the smoke chamber and smoke shelf. Finally, they'll perform a level II internal inspection, as well as an inspection of the exterior of the chimney. We include this level II video inspection with every purchase of a cleaning for no added cost!
